| CHILDREN'S MUSIC - Grades 3-5 |
Children's music meets on Wednesdays starting at 5:00 PM. Choir Chime (Sonshine Chimers) ensemble meets in the Sanctuary 5-5:30 PM. Choir Chimes are shaped like large tuning forks and are pitched to various notes of the musical scale. This is a great ensemble to learn how to count, read notes of music, and develop eye/hand coordination. The play once a month during a weekend worship service.

Children's Choir meets on Wednesdays in Room C13-15 from 5:30 to 6PM. They learn various age appropriate songs and additional praise songs to later share in worship once a month.

| YOUTH MUSIC - Grades 6-12 |
|
Youth specific praise and worship teams will be forming soon.
|
|
|
Some high school youth are participating with adult praise and worship teams as well as the Celebration Choir, the Jubilate Ringers (handbells), and various other instrumental ensembles.

| PRAISE & WORSHIP TEAMS |
|
There are a variety of worship teams that focus on contemporary Christian music and praise songs. They provide leadership at our Blended and Contemporary services. There are openings for singers, drummers, guitar players, and keyboard players. Some groups rehearse on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. There is an audition process in order to place musicians with others of similar skill levels and styles. New teams are also created.

Each Praise & Worship team member commits to share their gift and talent 1 weekend a month (Saturday and Sunday). Each team is assigned a specific weekend, for instance, every 1st weekend of the month; or every 2nd weekend of the month, or every 3rd weekend of the month and so on. This is helpful for team member's family activities planning as well as worship planning. The worship teams go 12 months a year.

| CHANCEL CHOIR |
|
Under the direction of Mr. Bill Heins (former choral director of Northrop High School Fort Wayne, IN), the Chancel Choir is open to high school age through adults who enjoy singing standard choral music.
|
|
|
They primarily sing at the 11:15 A.M. Traditional Service from September through June. The Chancel Choir is open without any audition and meets Wednesday evenings 6:30-8PM in room C13-15.

| HANDBELLS |
|
The Jubilate Ringers meet in the Sanctuary on Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 PM. They are a group of handbell ringers who play a variety of styles of handbell music. It is open to youth and adults who already have experience in ringing handbells or choir chimes.

Beginning Handbells is for those persons who want to learn the art of playing English handbells. You need no experience and everything will be taught to you one step at a time. It is open to those 6th grade thru adults, who do not know how to read music as well as those who do.

| WINDS, BRASS, PERCUSSION |
|
|
Saint Joseph Wind, Brass, and Percussion players are open all ages. They play from time to time with Praise & Worship Teams. They also play for special church occasions and also combine with Psalm 150 Orchestra for Christian Holiday worship services and other occasions.

Saint Joseph Strings is open to string players of all ages. They play for special church occasions and also combine with Psalm 150 Orchestra for Christian Holiday worship services and other occasions.

| KEYBOARDS, GUITARS AND DRUM SETS |

|
Our Praise & Worship Teams are always looking for keyboardists, guitarists and drummers willing to learn how to play the various styles of praise and worship songs for both the Sanctuary and HEbrews Joe Coffee House style worship. You will need to go through an audition process in order to match your skill level with that of the variety of Praise & Worship Teams.

| DRAMA |
|
Bobbie Shull heads up the drama ministry team. The purpose of the ministry is to enhance our morning worship services with dramatic vignettes that set up or pose questions for the sermon.
|
|
Also there are special occasions during Christmas and Easter that may call for actors. This is open to students and adults who want to learn about acting as well as those who have had some acting experience.
|

| DANCE |
|
|
From time to time we have individuals and dance teams make presentations in both the traditional liturgical dance format and modern or jazz dance format, depending on the song chosen and style of worship being ministered to.

| GRAPHIC AND VISUAL ARTS |
|
Dawn Haney, the creative force behind Dawn Haney Design, began her business after discovering her passion for photography. We are looking for artistic individuals with a flare for photography and or graphic design to join with Dawn Haney in using their gift for Jesus. From time to time we need professionally designed logos, posters, and other visual aids that will highlight or give branding to a particular sermon series or event.

| TEXTILE AND OTHER VISUAL ARTS |
|
|
Persons who have an eye for interior decorating and design may find that God can use their gift to enhance the visual settings of the Sanctuary and/or the Worship Center.

| WORSHIP AUDIO, VISUAL, and TECHNICAL ARTS |
|
Steve Pozezanac, manager of the Merillat Centre for the Arts, Zurcher Auditorium at Huntington University, is the point person for our Worship Audio, Visual, And Technical Arts crew. There are openings for high school and adult men and women who have an interest in audio - visuals as a ministry to our congregation and a way of serving God.

We always need camera operators, audio soundboard operators, computer and video-playback operators, and light board operators. If you want to learn how to operate the audio-visual equipment, we want to talk to you.

| CREATIVE ARTS WORSHIP DESIGN TEAM |

This team meets on the third Saturday of each month to dream outside of the box, on creative ways to help people to connect with God and the various aspects of worship that takes place in the Sanctuary and HEbrews Joe worship services.

| VIDEO PRODUCTION TEAM |
|
|
Our Video Production Team help storyboard, shoot, and edit original audio/video footage that will aid in worship, communication, and information. They also edit existing footage of movie clips that may enhance worship and/or communication.

| USHERS |
|
Our ushers are one of our first-line of enthusiastically radical hospitality for Jesus, by welcoming visitors and greeting current worshipers. They not only help people find a place to sit but play a vital role in extending a warm greeting for all who come.

| SANCTUARY CARE TEAM |
|
|
The Sanctuary Care Team will work hand in hand with other artists who may be creating various interior visual designs in the worship areas It has also been a time honored tradition and privilege in the Church to tend to and care for the interior of the Sanctuary. We are looking for a group of people who would be interested in, lovingly and with much respect, taking up those responsibilities.

| COMMUNION STEWARDS |
|
The communion stewards prepare and place the communion elements, (bread and juice) on the various altars at the various worship areas. Some prepare fresh home made baked bread for use as well as store bought breads for use during the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
