Join us as your children learn what it means to weave their faith into everyday life! And don't forget to mark your calendars for the 8:30am family breakfast on the first Sunday of each month. See you there!

Sunday mornings at Praise Pointe is all about choice and flexibility. Beginning at 9:15am, children are given a time to get “warmed up” and begin an exciting morning of music, Bible lessons, crafts, games, drama and more! Check out the schedule below to determine what time/activities work best for your child and your family.

All of the morning groups and activities reinforce a central story and/or theme. Families should feel free to participate in all or part of the morning activities. Children are welcome to arrive and be dismissed at any of the designated start/end times. Our goal is to share Jesus with your children and family in a way that embraces your child’s unique learning style and also accommodates each family’s Sunday morning schedule.

Welcome center hosts will be waiting to help your family with check in and answer any questions you may have.

Our priority is your child’s safety. Families should plan to use the welcome center kiosk to check in their children preschool - 4th grade for the morning. Children will receive a name tag that includes a transaction number. Parents will receive a receipt with the same transaction number. Volunteers will match the number on your receipt with your child’s name tag before releasing you child. In this way, parents control who is permitted to pick up their children. Welcome center host are happy to answer any questions or concerns about the check in process.

Saint Joseph is offering three weeks of Summer Camp at the church beginning with Safari Camp (VBS) the week of June 21-25 for children 3 yrs – entering 6th grade. Arts Camp for children entering k-6th grade and Worship Arts Camp for 7th & 8th grade students is scheduled the week of July 12-16. Science Camp for children entering K-6th grade is scheduled for August 9-13. The hours for all three weeks are 9am - 2pm with before and after care available at an additional cost. Preschool Ministries:

Praise Pointe provides preschool programs for children 2 1/2 through 5, along with before and after preschool care. This program is called Extended Care. We offer several choices in the preschool classes both AM and PM. Curriculum is based on age appropriate developmental experiences. These include but are not limited to social play, art, music, motor development, and literature. We also take field trips each year and have "in school" programs that include Bike Safety, Vision Screening, Fire and Home Safety. Class schedules and class size vary depending on age of children.

Registration:

Open registration begins Mar 15 2010. Please stop in the Preschool office to pick up the forms. The office will be open 9:00-3:00 Monday through Friday. There is a registration fee of $40.00 per child.

Praise Pointe Before and After Care for school age children provides care for children K- 5th grades. We open at 6:35 am and close at 5:50 pm., Monday through Friday. We offer indoor and outdoor recreation, study time, craft projects, creative games, and a weekly Bible lesson time. We offer breakfast as well as an afternoon snack. This program is designed for children who are in public school and need a safe Christian environment prior to or following school. We follow Fort Wayne Community School's calendar. We are closed during FWCS school vacations (Christmas, Spring break), but remain open at other times including snow days and delays, and planned teacher days. This program will close only if there is a level 2 snow emergency and vehicles are not to be on the roads, ordered by sheriff or state police.

Schools Served:

Bus service from and to Saint Joseph is provided by Fort Wayne Community Schools transportation. Stops can be established for most schools by contacting the Transportation department.
