A part of every church’s goal should be to provide opportunities for people to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus. Here at Saint Joseph a part of our Mission is expressed as “Developing Fully Mature Disciples.” We try to provide a variety of opportunities for people to grow toward maturity realizing that everyone learns and matures differently.
Our Family Ministries include opportunities for Children and Youth to learn about Jesus and to begin putting into practice the things that they learn.
For Young Adults there is a Wednesday night Bible Study that meets at 8:00 at the church each week for learning and fellowship for those who are in their early years away from High School.
For adults of all ages there are multiple avenues for learning, making personal connections with others, and serving both in the church and the community.
Sunday mornings there are a number of Adult Sunday School classes that meet at 9:45.
Wonderful Wednesdays each week include a family friendly worship from 6:15 to 6:55. At 7:00 there are a variety of classes offered for adults as well as children and youth. Each week there is an opportunity for someone who would like to get started and has never taken part in another class or opportunity.
Women’s Ministries has an active program of Bible Study, Fellowship, and Service which provides women of all ages many different places to connect.
For women who enjoy a more traditional women’s circle setting there is an active United Methodist Women’s organization that always has room for more women to participate.
One of the expectations of Saint Joseph is that people who are desiring to grow in their faith will be actively involved in using their gifts, talents, and resources for others both inside the church and beyond in our community. There are many ways for people to become involved and Betsy Erdman is available to help connect you with an opportunity that will allow you to grow closer to Jesus by giving of yourself to others.
